Frequently asked Questions

Q1       How much potential exists within the licensed area I have selected?

Ans.    Just like every new business venture, the onus is on you to do your research and satisfy yourself that your selected area of operation is a viable area for a Christmas Decorators Franchise. What we can tell you is that each area has been identified by an independent organisation that specialises in this particular field and that each franchise area has equal opportunity with an average of over 20,000 SEG1 households plus 1000’s of commercial opportunities.

Q2       What is a SEG1 Household?

Ans.    These groupings (Social Economic Groups) are identified by independent research organisations and are also used in Government Statistics. SEG1 households are those that generate far in excess of the average disposable household income. These households include the residences of wealthy business owners, Celebrities, Sportsmen & Sportswomen etc… all of these are potential clients for the service you will be able to offer.

Q3       Is my selected territory completely protected?

Ans.    Quite simply, Yes. Each Franchisee has an area that is exclusive to them; no one else will be allowed to market the Christmas Decorators service in your protected territory.

Q4       How did existing franchisees perform during last Christmas?

Ans.    Very well, some better than others but overall results were excellent with most franchisees substantially exceeding targets.

Q5       Given the seasonal nature of The Christmas Decorators business, when is the best time of year to sign up.

Ans.    As soon as possible, we start training around July and run refresher courses for all new and existing franchisees in September ready for the busy installation period.

Q6       Has the Christmas Decorators been affected by the economic turndown and recession?

Ans.    You often hear of business opportunities that claim to be recession proof, but are they really? We can honestly say that 2009 sales and profitability were substantially up on 2008, in fact our sales and profitability have increased year on year since the business was founded.
